When do i start the ice cream bar?

I am thinking of having an ice cream sundae bar!! When is the best time to open this? We will have cake and serve that toward the end of dinner…maybe the last hour is best for the ice cream?

Love the idea of an ice cream bar Lauren! Do you not want to serve the cake with the ice cream? Maybe once you cut the cake, open up the ice cream bar. I’m sure your guest will love ice cream and cake.

If you don't serve cake and ice cream together, I would serve ice cream before cake because any leftover cake can be taken home but leftover ice cream cannot (well, not easily that is).
