When do i send out invitations?

Invitations should go out 6-8 weeks before the wedding. Your RSVP deadline should be 1-2 weeks before your final headcount is due.

I get married on November 27th, 2020. Our RSVP deadline will be on October 17th (1.5 month before our wedding because our final guest count is due 30 days before the wedding) and our invitations will be sent out on September 27th (2 months before our wedding).

It will definitely depend on when you need a head count.

We are DIYing and are making the food ourselves. We're sending our invites Dec. 2nd with a deadline to get RSVPs back by Jan 15. This is 30 days out because we need to know how many chairs and tables to rent, too. We also figure there will be stragglers who won't RSVP and we'll have to hunt them down so this will give us a little breathing room to do that.

I made rsvp deadline a month before so I still had at least 2 weeks to track down the ones that wait until last minute. Invites typically go out 4-6 weeks before so I would say end of April at the latest

My wedding is a week after yours (but everyone has to fly in) so our invites will be going out in March. Working on getting out STDs this month. RSVP date for us will be a month out since I know people won't listen and I know I'll have to hound people.

Yay! were date twins! Were sending our Save the date's next month as holiday cards & our invites will go out the first week of February. I know its earlier than most but I have a large family.
