My wedding is 2/22/20 . When do I send? And when should RSVP deadline be?

Is your wedding local or more of a destination for your guests? Typically, local wedding invitations go out 6-8 weeks prior, and destination wedding invitations go out 8-10 weeks prior. For example, our wedding is on September 28th, and 1+ hrs of travel time for 90% of our guests, so we sent ours out 10 weeks prior (mid-July) and made our RSVP deadline around a month out from our actual wedding (August 26th). Hope this helps!

Hi! Our wedding is on October. We sent the 'Save the Date' at about late May. Our invitations arrived the first week of August and that same week we gave them out. Most of pur family and friends live on our same town, but some of them live in the capital which is some kind of 1hr. and a half and others live in U.S. We sent the U.S. ones first, then sent the capital ones and lastly gave out the ones in our town or near. Conclusion, invitations sent first/second weeks of August. Our deadline RSVP is on September 13th, a week and a month ahead of the wedding but we won't start calling to ask the ones who haven't answered until mid September.

Our wedding is September 21. I sent Save the Dates last October. We sent invitations last week in July & RSVP we put due back September 7. If your hall/carter needs a count ahead of time I would have your RSVPs due back earlier. We just didn't have to have a count that early. Good Luck with Planning!

Daughter's was a month earlier than yours, 1/19. Invitations went out 8.5 weeks before (the Wednesday before Thanksgiving). RSVPs were due 12/25 (3.5 weeks before the wedding; all online, and she'd heard from all but 10 people/3 households by the due date). Her first numbers were due 10 days later on Jan. 4 (2 weeks prior), final catering number was due 1/11 (1 week prior). It worked perfectly for her. Good luck!

You're going to want them due back around a week before you have to give numbers to your caterer.

Ours will be due back a month before the wedding.

If I were you, I'd probably send them out after Christmas. Right around January 2.

My wedding is the week after yours, our coordinator recommended invites sent 12/1 and due 1/15. That gives us 2 weeks to chase RSVPs before we need a final headcount to the florist for centerpieces.

Our weddings are on the same day!! We are sending out invitations on December 14th to avoid sending them during the Christmas/new year weeks. We're reminding people to book their hotel by January 15th so that they can get the reduced rate. I don't remember how far in advance we need the final number for the venue..but the rsvp deadline will be a week before its due so I can get in touch with the stragglers in time for a number.

I would check with your vendors for when they need final counts, then I'd set the RSVP date for a week or so before that so you have time to contact anyone who doesn't RSVP. We sent our invites out 3 months in advance, we had over 100 out of state guests (we also sent save the dates).

We're date twins! All our family is out of state but all our friends are in state so we decided to send out invites the second week of October and have RSVPS the second week of Dec.

We sent out our wedding invitations 8 weeks before the wedding and our RSVP date was 3.5 weeks before the wedding.

🙋🏽‍♀️Date twin over here 02.22.2020❤️... I am planning on sending out invitations the first week of October. My RSVP deadline will be January 22 2020 since that is also when people need to have booked their hotel rooms to get our special rate.

We started sending out our invitations in waves about 5 months in advance. We did this because some of FHs family is traveling much further than mine and we wanted to give them more notice.

Our RSVP deadline is about 2 months before the ceremony. Some of our vendors are asking for final numbers about a month in advance. And let's face it, I'm going to need time to chase down stragglers lol.
