Thanks. I am considering just hiring a photographer by the hour for getting ready and ceremony only but can't figure out how much time before the wedding I would need.

I believe we're going to start getting ready at 11AM for our 3PM ceremony, so I'll want my photographer there then. She and her assistant will be able to get lots of scenery/décor pics and then of course the getting ready photos. We plan on doing pre-ceremony photos around 1PM as well. This is all just based off of my scheduling, I haven't confirmed any of this with my photographer yet lol

Not married yet but my photographer said they’d come when my hair and makeup is pretty much done. They’ll take getting ready pictures and pictures of the dress before I get into it. I’m eloping so it should all be pretty quick, I’m asking they be there at least 30-45 minutes before.

I about had a heart attack! I thought the agreement was 12:30, but apparently it was 1:30! Our ceremony was at 3. I felt very rushed and didn't get specific photos that I wanted

Photographer arrived at our home to take casual "getting ready" photos at 11 am. (His assistant arrived where the guys were getting ready at the same time.) We all arrived at the venue around 12:30, including the photographer & assistant, for photos of daughter's dress hanging and bride getting into her dress. First look was at 1:30, followed by couple and wedding party photos. Ceremony began at 3:30. Photographers stayed through the end of the reception at 10 pm. The last people to leave the reception were the B&G and the photographer -- he got AWESOME photos of the B&G at the end of the night in the venue alone. So, he was with us for close to 12 hours. Daughter received more than 1100 edited photos covering the entire day.

We haven’t had our wedding yet but our photographer has got our timeline all figured out already. Our wedding is 3:30pm and she will arrive to start photos of my fiancé and his guys at 12 and then to me at 1 for detail and getting ready photos.

We haven't had our wedding yet, but our photographer is arriving at the resort my bridesmaids and I are getting ready at around 1pm. She will then go the venue with us at 2 to continue photos and our first look is at 2:45. We have her for 8 hours.

We started getting ready morning-of around 11am and photographers arrived a little after 12:30pm. This gave them time to get some getting ready shots, as well as detail (venue, dress, flowers, etc.) before we started getting dressed and taking bridal/wedding party photos around 2:30pm Smiley smile
