So for my wedding I am having the reception immediately after the ceremony and plan on staying in my wedding dress; however, we are leaving straight from the reception on a road trip to our honeymoon destination. I don’t want to wear the dress in the car the whole way and I want to change, but we are having a traditional send off with bubbles and wasn’t sure if like...

Can I turn around after the send off and go change before we officially leave? I’m guessing right? After the photographer takes the send off picture or whatever, I go back and change and start saying bye to people right? This might be a silly question lol

Typically you say bye before the send off. Many people who are leaving immediately for the honeymoon change into a more casual send off outfit before leaving. A cute white dress or romper, jeans and a fun bride shirt, whatever.

My friend had a faux send off. As in, they did the hopping into their car through the bubbles and leaving, but drove around a couple of blocks and came back so they could grab presents and stuff.

Ok thanks! I really want the send off pictures in my gown so I may do a pretend one and come back to change so I can leave my dress with family

When my sister got married she did the sendoff with the bubbles and everything. As soon as she and H were away from everyone the snuck in a side entrance so they could change and leave and the guests would give them some space.

My Brother was going to do bubbles but it was February in North Dakota and snowing when he got married and the bubbles froze when we went to blow them 😆

I think I’ll do a pretend send off and then just be like ok I got to change lol either way it’d a small wedding with just family
