When are you leaving for your honeymoon?

I'm actually tired just thinking about packing for my honeymoon...lol. I also have to make sure my kids are packed, so their father can pick them up while I am gone. The goals is to have everything packed 2 days before the wedding.

I have stayed at a Dreams Resort and a Secrets Resort, both all inclusive. The Secrets resort in Costa Rica was adults only. I always look at the ratings on TripAdvisor.

So bold! I know I would be miserable if we decided to leave the morning after. I want to drink and party and dance, and enjoy our after party until the wee hours of the morning!

We're leaving from PIT to Punta Cana at 6am the Monday after our Saturday wedding! I would have liked to have left the Tuesday after to give us Monday to get some stuff done and fully relaxed before we leave, but no complaints here!

My wedding is 8.18.18 but we are leaving for St Lucia on Monday 8.20.18

Same date, same honeymoon schedule!! lol!!

We left for our honeymoon the very next day!! But we had a late flight and it was just from NC to Miami, for an early morning flight the next day to St. Lucia! Since our wedding was out of town for us, we were already completely packed which helped.

We were dead tired the day after our wedding, but our flight to Miami ended up getting delayed so we were glad we broke up the flights and didn't miss a connection!

My plan is to leave 2 days after the wedding

We haven't gotten to that part of our planning process yet, but we're aiming to leave no more than 3 days after our wedding.

We are getting married July 14th and we are leaving for ours on October 5th. We just bought our tickets last week.
