When and WHERE will everyone’s honeymoon be?!

Ooooooo nice! Where in Jamaica are you going ? We’re going to Mexico for a week and then South Africa for another week on Safari. We were initially planning to go to Italy instead of Mexico but they still aren’t accepting US tourists. If they do open up when we get close to the date I’m going to surprise FH with a weekend trip after we come back.

We went to Disney/Universal in January of 2020, on a slightly delayed honeymoon.

I think we're going to go to Alaska after our vow renewal, July 2023.

Turns out, a lot of places suck to travel to in July. Great planning on our part.

Alaska is one of the few places that its "prime time" is July, and we've wanted to go for years.

We were going to take a week long cruise to the Bahamas, but decided that it wouldn't be as enjoyable and more difficult with the excursions off the boat, so we changed our minds and we are going to St. Augustine, FL, the week after we get married. We will be staying at our favorite place, the Hammock Beach Resort.

We’re going to Jamaica Ochi Rios to a Sandals resort for 7 days! Getting married on 4/3/21 & will be in Jamaica on 4/5! So beyond excited!!

View Quoted Comment Most definitely I will keep you updated! I was able to get our 1 bedroom honeymoon suite villa with a butler for $3546! We used the savings to splurge on first class airfare tickets ($2224 for 2). Haven’t bought our excursions yet- we need to sit down this weekend & get them.

We're taking a quick local trip right after the wedding (April 10) just to decompress and enjoy being married before going back to work. But then in the fall we want to go to Hawaii! Italy was/is our first choice so if restrictions lift by the time we're ready to book this summer then we might go to Italy. But it's looking more like Hawaii will be the easier trip since their restrictions currently aren't too bad and I imagine will only get less strict as time goes on and more people get vaccinated.

We had a 12 day trip to Ireland, Scotland, and England originally scheduled in July 2020, 2 weeks after the wedding, but COVID. Ceremony got pushed to September 2020. Was hoping to make the trip this summer, but that looks unlikely now. So, fingers crossed it’ll happen in summer 2022. Not really a honeymoon at that point, but I guess it is what it is.

We are taking our honeymoon the day after the wedding. Since FH has very limited days off, we are taking a drive to mountains just outside of Las Vegas (30 mins or so) for a few nights and getting the resorts bridal/wedding suite!

We originally were going to go to Jamaica in December 2021, we live in New York so we wanted to go somewhere nice in the winter. However because of covid we are now going to the Poconos couples only resort in Erie PA the week after our wedding.

We are doing Disney and Universal and we are leaving 2 days after the wedding! I'm SO excited. We originally wanted to do a cruise to Alaska, but with Covid, we just weren't comfortable getting on a ship and we didn't want to push it off too much because we want to start trying for children. So Disney and Universal it is!
