You guys. This is so dumb. 
Can I just complain for a second?? 
I spent all this time designing 5x7 invitations in Canva, making sure that I was using exactly their 5x7 widget because I didn't want to run into exactly the situation I'm having.
I was just going to print them on whatever nice cardstock was available wherever I found the most economical to print a large number of these things.... when my FI said they'd look GREAT on pearlescent paper. (He's right; they would.)
It has been, however, hell on wheels trying to find a place that will print on pearlescent, and once I did, my invitations weren't fitting at all! I don't just mean issues with bleed lines; I mean they were half an inch off of the 5x7 "design your own"! I called customer service and asked. They were kind enough to look into it and try to fix it for me, and ultimately they said that the Canva 5x7 isn't actually that size.
Soooooooooooooooooooo I might count this as my big DIY fail of the wedding?!??!!?!!??
Anyway, that's all. I'll figure it out but you ladies probably understand better than anyone in my "real life."
