    Agreed, I'll be getting married October next year also. Felt a little weird starting the wedding planning so early but quickly have come to realize how booked many vendors are.

    I picked August because May/June September/October are popular wedding months. I was surprised to find it was difficult to plan for a small elopement in August. I wish we had planned further ahead.
