Have you picked your song for your recessional, yet? What is it?

FH and I love oldies music and right now we've talked about "Hold On I'm Coming" by Sam and Dave, or "Land of 1,000 Dances" by Wilson Pickett. We're looking for something happy and upbeat for our first walk together as a married couple. I'm still looking for more inspiration, as I'm not totally set on the choices yet.

    @Nonna I LOVE Andrew Lloyd Webber! Mostly because CATS is my favorite musical ever. "All I Ask of You" is a gorgeous song.

    Ours was This Will Be, Natalie Cole. Our ceremony was on the same grounds as the cocktail hour so it was a great upbeat song to get everyone mingling too.

    We used "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" as our recessional, and danced our way back down the aisle!

    I am also a fan of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber - the bridesmaids walked in to a violin version of Music of the Night.

    We were going to do This will be (an everlasting love) by Natalie Cole, but recently changed our minds to The Dog Days are Over by Florence and the Machine. I just love how upbeat and energetic it is.

    We also considered For Once in my Life by Stevie Wonder.

    ETA: I forgot to add that we are having a cello/flute duo, so we will have to discuss what they can play. They have a great selection of other modern songs on their site, so I'm pretty confident that they'll have some good suggestions if they can't do the song that we want.

    Ours was Everything by Michael Buble. We had a violinist and pianist so it was a little tricky to find a song that they could play. They did a fantastic job and I love that song!

    We used "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terell (we love Motown and also Guardians of the Galaxy). it was also the first song of our cocktail hour playlist.
