And what are you cutting out? For me, the most important thing is the venue, food & bar, then the music. Then the dress! After that, decor and little details are nice but I don't care that much. I am not doing any decorations in the ceremony space, since it's already in a garden. I'm also don't need...

For me, the most important thing is the venue, food & bar, then the music. Then the dress! After that, decor and little details are nice but I don't care that much.

I am not doing any decorations in the ceremony space, since it's already in a garden. I'm also don't need a limo or any transportation, so that helps! No photo booth, no favors (we're doing champagne with the place cards, instead of favors). No ceremony musicians, my DJ takes care of that. I'm not renting any special linens or anything. Honestly, I have no idea why this wedding is so damn expensive LOL

What about you? What is most important to you, and what are you cutting out?

Food and Drink, then photographer, DJ, and my dress. All the other stuff I don't care too much about. Flowers really aren't that important to me

The thing that was most important to me was staying true to who we are.
I stopped worrying about finding napkins that match tablecloths (or whatever) and just planned an awesome night out with friends. The only difference is we'll get to say some truly heartfelt shit to each other in front of our friends and some guy with a camera is gonna follow us around.

I may still mail favors to everyone afterwards.

The only important thing is the two of us spilling our hearts in front of the people who matter most to us. Everything else is just icing on the cake (which might be #2)
We made the food our biggest priority followed by our photographer. That's where 75% of our money went.
I don't think either of us really cares about the rest of the details. It all just happened.
