I think of a sad episode of Greys Anatomy when I hear this so it would not be a sentimental wedding song for me.

I mean....music is art, and art is always up for interpretation. Personally, I think it's saying they are ready to settle down and depend on their partner. Their relationship is special, but is something that only they know the inner-workings of.

What LillyBean said. So many songs have turned sad from GA. Anyways I agree with court, its all up to you and what FH thinks. If you love the music behind it and yall are still unsure, you can always make it instumental.

All the ceremony music would be the instrumental version... like I also LOVE "Demons" by Imagine Demons... but I wouldn't want it to be too weird for people to walk into, because of the lyrics... or wouldn't want people to judge from the song title. lol

OP I think the lyrics are definitely better than a lot of popular wedding songs right now {UO: I get so annoyed every time I hear "Marry You" by Bruno mars because the lyrics are so unromantic/childish] and it's a lovely song so I think it would be amazing - though like others I have the Grey's feels from that haha.

I'm cracking up at all the people ruined by Grey's. I have a long list of songs from that show on my list, especially from the early seasons (I have an amazing spotify playlist from this show) Not sure if this particular song is one I would want at my wedding, I love the composure of it, so maybe an instrumental version? Its about what you and your FS want

It kinda sounds like a song about the end of the world maybe? It definitely conjures up memories for me of my HS crush! I think if you like it for your ceremony, no one will read too much into the lyrics or pay attention because they will be too focused on you walking down the aisle!

@Hope That's what I thought of too! Love the song but it's kinda sad because Pooh I don't know why! I don't watch Grey's but I can totally get where people are coming from having songs ruined because of sad shows!

This song does have a super sad feel, but the words are all about reconciliation, and coming together. I'd go for it!
