What’s your flower girl wearing ?

Found a white dress and was going to do a satin lavender sash to match BM dresses. All the flower girl gowns are long on her though. Is it too formal ? Should she be in white ?

They can wear whatever you'd like them to wear. I think long is fine as long as they're old enough to not trip on it or get it dirty before they make it to the ceremony. Our flower girl is wearing this dress only it's much longer on her, basically to the ground. She loves it and it's a style that will coordinate with our wedding so that's all that matters to me.

I was torn when i went shopping my flowergirl is our 6 year old daughter. The key must have she wanted to twirl huge and poofy we met in the middle and got a dress similar to mine which wasn't intentionally. We got it bigger since they grow like weeds i cut to to a floor length so she won't fall
