What's your first dance song?

We are having two; the traditional slow dance, and then a bachata dance to honor his Colombian heritage. (His family asked us to include it, and I love the idea!)
Traditional; Bright by Echosmith.
Bachata; Stand By Me covered by Prince Royce. My FH picked this one because it’s slower and bilingual which he loves.

We're doing As the World Falls Down by David Bowie. I've wanted to dance to that song with my new husband on my wedding day since I was six years old. it's the song that plays during the ball in The Labyrinth. It matches our vibe and Gothic Fairytale theme so well. Can't wait

I had so many songs picked out and FH exnayed them all
And it is hard because I want to waltz but I want it to be to a song with lyrical meaning...sooo now we are trying to find one he likes. Possibly "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys or "So Close" from the movie Enchanted.

Then by Brad Paisley. We’re cutting out the way end though when it’s just instrumental to make the song a little shorter.

This is going to be a hard decision for us! I have a list. I love, L.O.V.E by Nat King Cole and a few others. We will be learning ballroom and doing a more choreographed dance . I've been dancing for over 25 years since I was 3 and it's sort of expected hahaha@ FH is down with it too!.

My FH and I have chosen "Thank You," the Chris Cornell version!

We haven't officially decided but have always wanted "I don't Mind" by Defeater, we just need to test out how danceable it is

"Let's get it on" was our first dance song because it was also the song that played when my hubby proposed to me.

We chose to do "You Are Mine" by Spencer Combs (ft. Holley Maher)!

Awesome songs, everyone!

We are using Europa by Gato Babieri. I love Latin Jazz and the sax this has all the romance I dream of without lyrics. We can do a bit of a slow cha cha to it with turns for a bit of a more lively feel.

So jealous of all the country love songs!!! My FH wants to be different and we are huge Disney fans so we are dancing to A Whole New World

My FH and I will have our first dance to "Crack the Shutters" by Snow Patrol. It was the very first love song that he showed me four years ago a few weeks into our relationship. Cannot wait!

I wanted "Thank You For Loving Me" to be our 1st song too. FH did not really like it. I even showed him the video, thinking the bride running down the street to her wedding, might sway him. lol It did not.
