What's Your Favorite Diy?

Mine is a toss up between our whiskey barrel head guest book and our card box! My wife built them both and I painted the designs, so they’re both special to us.

My favorite thing I have made is our cake topper made out of air dry clay, paint, tulle and glue! Our theme is Red White & I Do BBQ!

I think I love my centerpieces. But they weren’t DIY by me I bought them from another bride. Also I really like my birdcage card box which I also upcycled from another bride and I like my clothespin picture display.

I’ve finally gotten started on my prayer flags. The first photo is an inspiration pic, the second are my strips. I’m going to have the strips at my bridal shower and have the guests there write a prayer for our marriage in sharpie. After the wedding I’ll hang them as curtains in our home.

View Quoted Comment Thanks. I’ve never seen it some before either. I saw some Pinterest photos that used the strips for decorations but not the prayer flag aspect. A friend of mine hosts a race at his house and asks us to make a prayer flag to hang up in the back yard. That kinda gave me the idea for it.
