What's the worst part about planning your wedding?

The worst part of wedding planning for me was addressing all the invites and worrying about things running smoothly! What is the worst part of planning for you guys?

Having to tell so many people no they aren't invited/no we can't invite that person. Then having people complain we are having a small wedding because of it.

I didn't realize how political wedding planning can be. That's the worst part. I just want to have fun and marry FH but there's a lot of BS involved sometimes in trying to please other people

Getting unwarranted opinions from people who:

    1. Had a wedding that's super different than what ours will be

    2. Haven't planned a wedding in 50 years (Grandma - she thinks a $5k budget is way too expensive)

    OVER IT.

@FutureMrsHammet....planning a year out is NOT too soon....it's actually SMART!! Good vendors especially venues book way further out than a year so I'd get moving don't wait just cuz others think you should it's great to get ahead so not as much stress closer to big day. You would be surprised how long it takes to research, select and meet a few different vendors (which is a wise thing to do not just pick the first one you find) do I would get started specially if you're excited to do so.....congrats!!!

I think worst part of planning is struggling to see or envision all the moving parts and elements into one cohesive idea and how it will all go together in the way you hope it will?!

    So many moving parts!!! Lol

I got pretty overwhelmed when I was getting quotes. Not the price, but the stress of picking the right person. Tons of reviews helped, but I won't have a way of knowing if my instinct was right until the day of :/.

My florist is the exception because of to see his real work as he was doing a sunflower wedding and still has the bouquets when we were there.

Also, other people's opinions and not being f able to invite everyone we wanted to. I'm afraid of hurt feelings.

Currently I'm in a pickle and I'm nervous on how I'm going to get out of it or come to a resolution. When it comes to my wedding dress, when I first got engaged my mom never said anything about buying my dress.....I mentioned it to her that my dad said she should pay for it and she had no response....then my grandma told me weeks later that she would love to buy my dress....so I go and tell my mom the exciting news and she got mad and said she wants to buy it?!?! Like why. Ugh.

Staying within budget when like everyone we have regular bills, a little one, and our regular lives... outside of trying to hear everyone's negative opinions that we should just spend the money elsewhere! I'm sure next year I will have more stress lol

Planning the honeymoon has been the most stressful, which is surprising because normally I love thinking about travel and day dreaming about trips. There were just tons of choices, and then when narrowing in and reading reviews it was just overwhelming going through everything and trying to find the best fit.

We've been pretty low-stress the entire time, visited one venue, met with one photographer, went for one cake tasting, etc.

    1. MONEY.

    2. Hearing "you HAVE to do xxx". No, I don't have to have fish on the menu when FH is deathly allergic and there's 4 other options to pick between.
