Our wedding is really casual, so we're having food from Chicken shack. They have party packs that are pretty affordable. We're having chicken, their AWESOME potatoes, rolls, coleslaw, and if they don't offer another veggie i'll bring one. My sister-in-law is making her awesome chocolate chip cookies, and whatever else our friends and family want to bring

We are doing a combination of stations, plated, and buffet.

For cocktail hour, we are having passed apps. We having fried ravioli, tomato basil grilled cheese points, and sesame chicken bites with sweet mango mustard.

About 10-15 minutes prior to dinner, a plated salad course will be served. We choose to have Caesar salad. We have to my knowledge two women that are pregnant so I will have to check with the venue if they can have a different salad because Caesar salad isn't recommended for pregnant women.
For dinner we choose, a pasta station with two different types of pasta and sauces. We have at least one guest that has a gluten allergy so they are making a special pasta for her. We also will have a carving station with primed rib and turkey. Rolls with butter, mashed potatoes and roasted veggies will also be served.
For anyone that is vegan/vegetarian, they will get a plated meal for risotto with marinated and grilled veggies. Our vendors will get either a chicken entree or vegetarian entree. We didn't get to pick their options. Those are just the standard options.

We will be doing an arugula salad with grilled peaches and goat cheese and a bread basket. Then main entrée’s will be citrus and ginger glazed salmon, pepper pan seared filet Mignon and some vegetarian dish that hasn’t been 100% finalized yet. Sides for all dishes will be crispy sea salt fingerling potatoes and grilled vegetables with balsamic glaze.

I just have to say everyone's menu sounds so good I'm getting hungry from reading it.
In my culture we do family style courses:
Course 1 - cold appetizer (imagine like cold cut meats and seafood)
Course 2 - fried seafood roll
    Course 3 - soup
Course 4 - veggie only dish
    Course 5 - shrimp dish
    Course 6 - Peking duck
    Course 7 - lobster
    Course 8 - fish
    Course 9 - fried rice
    Course 10 - dessert
And then.. there's cake if you're still able to eat it

I'm so excited. We're hiring BD's mongolian grill to come and make a custom dish for each guest. Guests choose their ingredients from a wide buffet of raw ingredients and we'll have grillers "sword masters" on site to grill up the food. Guests can make anything from fried rice, to faijtas, to alfredo pasta.
