Whats a happy medium?

Brittany, on July 31, 2019 at 1:32 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 15

I personally am not a huge beach person. My fiance however could live at the beach! Where can we go to get some beach time but also so exploring, hiking, museums etc?

Hawaii seems like that would check off all those boxes!

Did you or is that where you are planning to honeymoon? I felt like anywhere in the states would feel like a vacation and not a honeymoon. Maybe I'm being silly.

I’m definitely biased because we live on the central coast and I think it’s gorgeous. I like that’s it’s not just flat beaches with palm trees but a ton of forest and vegetation. But a lot of people do a road trip down highway 1 and stop in northern, central, and southern California.

Hawaii, either of the costs, Florida. I kind of want to do Morrocco because we live in New England near beaches and do that all the time.

We went to Hawaii and spent a lot of time at the beach, but you wouldn't have to. We did an ATV tour in the mountains, went to the Pearl Harbor Memorial, hung out at the pool, etc. There are a ton of hikes, polynesian cultural arts center, museums, luaus, etc.

We're doing Rio! We are staying on the beach in a little airbnb (like $50 a night) and there will be food and entertainment, museums and culture for my FH too. Was a good compromise for us.

We’re looking into going to Napa, CA! About an hour from San Francisco, near near beaches, but also tons of other stuff to see and explore. And apparently lots of hiking and kayaking too. Still doing my research since we’re not planning on going until next spring, but I’m already super excited!

That sounds like fun! We are not sure if we want to go on honeymoon right away or wait until the new year. We are getting married end of October.

I might sound super lame but I love Williamsburg, VA. It has AMAZING history, beaches, beautiful scenery and an amusement park!
