We kept it simple and went with our first names, #karenandkeon....but it didn't work out well as most of our guests are older and don't do hashtags even though I had signs at the table. Lol

While I've had IG since before it was so popular and linked to Facebook, I'm not using any hashtags. Because I'm 33 and he's 42 and we are too grown for that. Also years ago I read something that struck me-the best sign of a healthy relationship is no sign of it on FB. Similarly to the thought that the thought everything you do doesn't need to be broadcast and a private life is a happy life. I'm on the cusp of the millennial generation, from dial up Internet, VHS and I owned cassette tapes as a kid. I remember life BEFORE the internet, I didn't have it until I was 16. No WWW until I was 16!? It's hard for people these days to succumb to privacy and peaceful lives.

@2ndtime, pretty sure most of us remember life before social media and the internet. No need to be condescending towards those who want to use hashtags to find their photos that others took in one place.

I'm 28 and don't use social media that much anymore and FH is about to turn 31 and I don't think he's posted anything on FB since 2012, but there are plenty of couples who have healthy relationships and use social media to keep in touch with friends and family. And not everyone has their information out there for everyone to see or has a million followers. But if they do, who cares?
