What Will You Do?

So, I've come to the realization that my wedding is coming up VERY quickly. Basically, it's two months out, and I'm excited. However, I never really stopped to think about what I'd do with my free time after the wedding is over. I've spent a year and a half of my life planning and making things...

So, I've come to the realization that my wedding is coming up VERY quickly. Basically, it's two months out, and I'm excited. However, I never really stopped to think about what I'd do with my free time after the wedding is over. I've spent a year and a half of my life planning and making things perfect (although that doesn't exist LOL). In a way, I think I'm going to feel lost and probably bored when the planning is over. I LOVE planning, and I'm scared there will be a big hole in my life where planning is gone. Do I sound crazy? Probably.

What do you plan on doing, or what have you done with your free time after wedding planning?

Freeeeeedoooommmm!! 😂 While I enjoy planning, I also can’t wait to be done (8 more weeks) and settle back into a normal routine and enjoy having more family time!! I have my honey moon to look forward to a month after, then a new car the following spring, a family trip to visit relatives in Europe the following summer, and saving up to buy a house! Plenty to keep me busy! I’m sure you’ll find things and activities to keep you occupied, if not, search for something to do that interests you. Smiley smile

Our honeymoon will be about 4 months after the wedding so we'll be focused on that for a little bit. Other than that we'll be working on home improvement projects and getting back to normal.

I cannot wait to work on major financial planning once the wedding is done. We have some lofty finance goals and really cannot focus on them with the wedding saving/spending. We will have a slightly delayed honeymoon (married in June, HM in November) but we also take a couple small vacations a year so we usually have that to look forward to.

I can’t wait for it to be over! We are only having a 9 month engagement, and I’ve been doing planning in chunks and sort of when it fits in. It’s just been thing thing that involves research, decisions, and stress.

Im looking forward to no longer cringing when I hear my FH telling FMIL something about the wedding because i don’t know what small detail she will take issue with.
