What will the Guests think?!

Danielle, on November 19, 2019 at 3:40 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 24

Weddings are all a bunch of hard work. Brides 2 be what feelings are you trying invoke in your guests? I hope to make my middle class family feel fancy for a night! I'm offering great music, amazing dancing lighting, and a smorgasbord of desserts all in a country club ballroom setting somewhere most of us have never been. I hope my guests feel like our wedding was a GREAT PARTY!

I was just starting to think about that this week. I want them to feel loved and appreciated because every detail it's for them. I want them to walk away from our wedding day as a night to remember.

I think I had wanted my guests to feel like there was a lot of elements to mine. Like a lot of things to do and see and experience.

We really wanted our guests to feel like they were at an event only the two of us could put together. We wanted a unique, fun, cozy, intimate, and semi fancy feel to the whole day. Not even our families knew what to expect, but everyone agreed it was so uniquely us and everyone loved our little details. Other than having more time, we wouldn't change a thing.

I love this and I feel the same way. Our goal is for our guests to feel loved and appreciated and for the entire evening to be very “us.”

I really want to wow them with how beautiful and elegant the decorations are! My main concern the whole wedding was how would it look! I want them to walk into the reception room and be amazed by everything i put

together! 25 days till the big day and I'm still trying to get more of the little details! I'm not having my wedding at Disney but I'm hoping to bring the Disney wedding to them!

I want the most intimate and elegant evening for a group of about 20-30. Lush flowere, plated dinner, outdoor lighting, musicians, etc. I want this to be a night where people just breath and enjoy being a part of an amazing night!

I want to please their 5 senses---from the taste, touch, look, sound and smell of it all- I want them to feel the true ambiance of an elegant event. I want them to feel love and feel the fun that is both my fiance and I.

We wanted our guests to have fun, eat good food, and be entertained.

So, we picked a venue with excellent food, poached a DJ from our friends' wedding where no one left the dance floor, had a swordfight, and made the day about the love we had for each other and our "framily".

This sounds a lot like my wedding! Except we have 60 guests. It will be on a private beach in the Riviera Maya with fresh fruit margaritas and mojitos. Two plated meals. 9 hours of a full open bar. Cigar and shots bar with Blue Label and other high end special bottles you don't get to drink everyday because they go for $25+ a shot. Artisan Gelato & popsicle bar. Canapé & cocktail hour with live music. Just a lot of little details. We have picked everything from the music to the coffee being served. It will be elegant but also very "us" with tons of personalized details.

9 hrs is a long time but you got a lot of details to fill the time. Very over the top. Cool.
