What were your flowers and how much did they cost? Let's see pics!

Kimber, on August 26, 2019 at 2:51 PM Posted in Style and Décor 1 24

I'm looking through my budget, and realizing I may have under budgeted for flowers. I don't want anything to lavish, but have no idea what flowers actually cost! Could you help me with a breakdown of what your flowers cost (for brides bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet, toss, centerpieces, arch/aisle decor, etc.)? I'd also be interested if silk is actually less expensive, or if the juice isn't worth the squeeze so to speak.

Show off pics of your beautiful flowers!

I couldn't justify spending a large chunk of my budget on flowers. I purchased my bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, and roughly 15-20 corsages and boutonnieres for less than $200 on Amazon! If you're set on having real flowers, I would look into Sam's Club and Costco, they don't have a whole bunch of options, but they're definitely more affordable.

Did you buy them pre-made or did you assemble yourself? Do you remember the name of the shop? I've heard good things about Amazon, but if DIY is involved, I am out of my element. (#DIWhyDidIThinkICouldDoThat?)

I bought them premade but I'm considering going to Hobby Lobby or somewhere like that and buying a few accent flowers to add to them. The store I bought from is ZipperSell.

This is the bouquet I got (definitely will be moving the gaudy rhinestone on the front Smiley xd )

There are a few little plastic greenery pieces that I'll probably take off too, but it's all preference. I definitely think it was worth the money I saved though.

We’re getting our flowers from Sam’s Club. The first picture is everything we’re purchasing. We wanted real flowers but we didn’t want to spend a huge amount of money on them.

Here in MD our florist quoted us $600 for my bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 9 boutonnieres, 3 wrist corsages, and cake flowers. All have combinations of white and blush roses, fir evergreens, eucalyptus, Queen Anne's lace, and hypericum berries.

We have a mix of real and fake - four bouquets, arch, 14 bouts and 6 corsages for $1200. I spent about $200 making my own centerpieces and aisle markers. Most places I looked at wanted $100 per centerpiece.

I got all of mine on Amazon for just under 70 dollars. The only one I don't have a pic of yet is my groom's. I keep forgetting to take a picture.

Wow, those lanterns look gorgeous! Were those the aisle markers or centerpieces?

That's incredible, all the flowers are made of ribbons, I've never seen anything like it. Was it heavy?

This breakdown is incredibly helpful! I’ve had the same concern, if I have budgeted enough for flowers while wanting to keep the cost reasonable. Your pictures are beautiful, I love the Christmas time decor you had!

I was worried it would be, but it's pretty lightweight. When it arrived the box was so light! I can't wait to carry it on my wedding day in October. I plan to display it in our bedroom somehow after
