What was your "holy crap I am getting married" moment?

It just hits me a little more and more as each days passes. Starting to get RSVPs back, my alts apt, seeing the count down FLY down after I hit 100 days, scheduling the ceremony rehearsal. All of those things little by little made it more real.

I think sending out STD's for me.

I was talking to my Fiance about this on Monday night. It hasn't happened for either of usyet. I told him it probably won't happen for me until we go get our marriage license. Lol

I agree with Nicole but the other one was when FH said he wanted to write our own vows. Just thinking about them gives me that "whoa, this is happening" feeling - in a good way!

It still hasn't hit me.

But I got a glimpse of it when I tried on my wedding dress

Making my first dress shopping appointment. I'm sure it will hit me even harder once I'm actually at the appointment!

It was sending out STDs for me as well. Also, the fact that all of my extra money is being put towards wedding stuff is an eye opener too.

I get married in less than a month and I dont think it has hit me yet

I think when we booked our venue. We signed the contract together and I said how it looked like we were signing the Declaration of Independence to which FH responded the Declaration of Un-independence… haha but we have an actual date now so when people ask which seems to make all the difference

It was several weeks back when I was looking at--rather sad, I must say--wedding gowns at a department store sample sale. (The dresses were as much as 75% off, so I felt I should at least take a look.)

I had two last week.

Number one was when we went to register for suits and FH tried on a suit jacket. It wasn't the first time I've seen him in a suit and he was still in his work uniform, but watching him put on the jacket brought me to tears.

The second moment was when I ordered my invitations last week. As soon as I clicked the submit order button, I teared up and thought to myself, holy shit, this is really happening.

I'll probably have another moment tomorrow, as it will begin our 6 month countdown. I just can't believe it!

It was when I put a big ass chunk of cash down for the venue and purchased my dress.

But yea I'm with AshMar, little by little every day I suppose.

It hit me when I say 39 days..i was like oh s**t I'm getting married

When we went to get our marriage license is when it hit me.

When I found "the dress" I was like, "HOLY COW IM GETTIN MARRIED!"

Pretty much ever since Jan 1st, 2017 I've gotten a few belly flipping moments, like..omg it's actually happening now lol

A lot of the time it will happen when I'm watching a tv show or a movie and someone is walking down the aisle, I instantly get nervous!!! Like that's what I'm going to be doing in less than three months!!

The latest one was getting FH's ring. It's engraved on the inside, and it made me WAY happier than I expected.

It hit me a little bit when I filled out the application for marriage license. And then again it hit me today since today is my last day of work before the wedding!

Sending STD's! That was so exciting and made it all very real!
