    We chose our venue because of the sentimental value. We’re having both the ceremony and reception at the little community beach in the neighborhood where we both grew up. It’s not designed for weddings, but has a little shelter and big grassy area on a point surrounded by the river, where we’ll set up the chairs for the sunset ceremony. It’ll take a lot of creativity make it work, but for me that’s half the fun!

    Unfortunately, this wasn't an option for me. I cannot have a receotion that I want due to COVID

    It was important that we didn't have a reception. We wanted to go out to eat at a restaurant instead.

    Our family and friends LOVE to dance so a big dancefloor was the number one priority. I also wanted something visibly pleasing with lots of perks and benefits. Our venue includes a bridal suite, day of coordinator, catering, and a location for the ceremony AND reception. Because we booked early, we were able to pick 3 extra perks as well (Photobooth was one of my wants).

    Must haves are freedom to use the vendors we want (outside catering allowed is non negotiable) and the freedom to run as late as we want
