Hey Ladies!
What is your wedding style? Do you have a theme? I'm a very eclectic person, and my wedding will totally follow suit.

I owned a florist for many years, so I'm excited to make my vision come to life.

I'm definitely a Southern Bride.
I love all of the old wedding traditions and I'm going to follow alot of them.

I'm also not afraid to step out of the box and my wedding will reflect that.
I'm going to have a colorful, shabby chic, country, and elegant wedding all rolled into one.

I'm getting married at a horse farm and my horse will play a huge part in my wedding and pictures.

My mother and I were co-owners of a Florist. We did so many weddings together, and her imagination and creativity was beyond belief. After losing her unexpectedly, two summers ago, It's going to be hard to design without her by my side, but I hope that I can do her proud.
I love all colors, with purple being my very favorite. I plan on my wedding looking like a summer explosion of color.
I'm using silk flowers, which I never dreamed that I would.
There are so many realistic flowers these days and I'm just going to go for itSmiley smile

I will have an empty chair and a memory table to honor my Mama, I'm going to decorate them with some of her favorite things and her pictures. I'm also dedicating her favorite song to her (Tears in Heaven) at the reception.

I follow a keto lifestyle, so my wedding will be keto friendly.
I will have a traditional wedding cake and keto cupcakes.

I plan on us riding off into the Sunset, on my horse Sasparilla, or she will pull us in a carriage.

Please tell me about your style of wedding and show me your vision of your big day.
I would love to see pictures, colors etc. Nothing is too big or too small, share away!
Congratulations to all, and happy planning!

Dang you’re doing better than me!
Vases were from craft store and dollar store
Real moss and lights from efavormart
Fake moss from dollar store(just in case it’s not enough)
Fresh flowers for centerpieces(silk for everything else! Too expensive)
I got a lot of things from thrift stores, lots of pretty gold photo frames and crystal serving platters but their vase selection was wiped out, no savings there.

I'm going for a boho vide with a beautiful scenic background for simplicity (we're eloping in the White Mountains). My dress is long sleeved, faux wrap style, all over lace in champagne. FH will be wearing dress pants with a nice button down and suspenders. I'm planning on a possible flower crown or dainty hair piece. Unsure as of yet.

I've been buying the vases since march i think lol but I think I have more then I need for the vases lmao If I am lucky no one will touch or look too closely at the flowers since I went cheap on the flowers and they were 40% off that day at micheals lmao so hopefully with the lights dimmed and the wedding being in October no one will care or notice lol

Nah I doubt anyone would be rude enough to manhandle your poor flowers! I’m only going fresh for the tables because my theme is so nature centric I’d feel funny doing fake for those, even the super expensive designer ones!
Our ceremony flowers and my bouquet are all fake, save money where you can! Arch flowers were so expensive I almost had a heart attack. They wanted $400 for two sprays for my arch!

That’s really lucky! Yeah the food cost gave me sticker shock. Our budget is 5k(including honeymoon) for our 30 guest wedding. Doesn’t matter if the wedding is small, vendors are expensive! 😰 Our officiant is a friend but the rest were regular vendors. Man hardly anyone wanted to even work with us, our budget was so low. I cried a lot but we pulled through! We found pro vendors willing to charge per hour. It was stressful for sure.
Now we get to relax a little and focus on the fun parts like decorating. FH is really enjoying this part!

I always thought I'd be a rustic person if anything. But for my wedding it's just accidentally upscale. My venue is on the ocean and the caterers have such high end table cloths and China included, my fiance wanted a purple floral theme. I just said wow were ping to have a really fancy looking wedding and it was not at all what I thought we'd have. I'm just rolling with it now.

I still have to buy the backdrop and the curtains and the curtain lights and then wait till it gets closer to october to see if the ceremony will be inside or outside, since we live in seattle it will mostly be inside since it never stops raining in the fall lol

I got these cute little wine crates that i just loved, so we have worked all of our color/decor elements into that. Burgundy/Blush coloring with Wine Bottle centepieces, a large wine bottle with gold sharpie as the gust 'book', a wine crate as a card box and another as a floral display, wine cork picture holders instead of table numbers, etc. we were looking for very simple and very affordable as we want our money to go to food/bar/entertainment for the weekend.

My FH and I are both old souls so we wanted something with a vintage feels but not SUPER vintage. We also went with a venue he’s always wanted to get married at that has a French feel to it so we blended our old soul feel with the French, but we’re both 2 nd gen Irish so we’ll be incorporating some Irish/ Celtic traditions in as well: examples are- braiding my hair with a ribbon in it, having a hand-fasting at our ceremony, toasting with mead instead of champagne, and playing The Parting Glass for those who could not be there with us

It posted too soon! The small lanterns are going to have ivory pearls strung around them with tea lights inside, the birdcage is our card holder, the gray is for his wedding party (2 guys, 2 girls) and the red is for my side. There’s also this AMAZING gazebo that has an old French feel to it outside and that’s where we’ll be getting married

Amazon has great curtains and backdrops! I’m just getting mine there.
Aw I miss Seattle, it used to be my hometown! I moved all the way to Michigan for FH but nothing beats the Seatac area. I miss the museums. My relatives moved up closer to Bellingham and it started snowing in April! WA weather is just unpredictable. I wish you sunshine on your wedding day! ☀️

One of the few states where you can have all 4 seasons in one day lmao If it doesn't rain this will be my background for the wedding, the patio is included with the banquet hall which adds an extra 3000sq ft so I'm hoping lol originally I wanted the wedding at the SeaTac highlibe botanical garden and community center

That’s gorgeous!! It’s so lush and green, I really miss the trees of the north west. Your wedding is going to be so pretty, weather aside you’ve got nature on your side!

It's going to be a rustic wedding, with a few celtic touches mixed in.
