What type of bustle?

My seamstress tried both the American & the French bustle so I could see how it looked. I liked the American version better. Have them try to o see what you like.

It's just personal preference. Have your seamstress show you both and pick whichever one you like better.

An overbustle will probably show more of the lace. However, I'm personally a big fan of the ballroom/invisible bustle if your seamstress knows how to do it.

I always prefer an American bustle and I think it will look great on your dress, which is very pretty, by the way. When you go in for your alterations, ask your seamstress to show you what both options would look like.

I just had a regular bustle done on my essense gown. It has a similar train to yours. They just added a button (on the line of buttons) and a little loop on the train. You don't even notice them.
