What to wear under the dress

I would imagine you should wear shapewear. How low cut is it?

Gorgeous dress! Shape wear would go with it. You can always change into some sexy lingerie later.
I’m doing some shape wear. My dress is backless so the seamstress is adding some cups. I don’t want to wear even a thong- I’ll freshen up when we get to the hotel & change into some sexy lingerie.

You could wear a strapless bra and nude underwear or nude or white shapewear that has a bra with it. I plan to wear some type of shapewear with mine.

Since it’s a low cut, I wonder if the bra will show through the middle. My dress has low cut neckline too, and I ended up with thin cups sewn inside the dress. You look slim on your profile picture, so I don’t recommend a shapewear, but a seamless underwear would feel comfy. Oh, my dress came with a padded/push up cups sewn inside. I never know those exist, but they made me so insecure. If you want push up, you could ask your seamstress to sew that type inside your dress.

Spanx makes some great lineless shapewear. I was smooth and sucked, and I even got to eat dumplings the week of the wedding!

I didn't wear anything under mine except a nude thong. If you don't want shapewear, you can definitely talk to your seamstress about options.

I agree with Eri! If you don’t need something super supportive, no bra and a thong/seamless underwear should work.

Another thing to think about is ——> the weather where you are having your wedding. A wedding dress (yours even with long sleeves) would raise the temperature, so another layers such as a shapewear would be 🥵 and if you usually sweat or/and have red face in regular clothes during summer, it’s not a good idea, imo.

Hi, late to this thread but I used to work in lingerie sales. You should definitely wear nude not white and look at peachy shapewear online. They have a low cut body suit type of undergarment that will be perfect. Hope that helps. Xoxo
