What to wear to November outdoor wedding?

Ashley, on November 21, 2015 at 3:49 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15

Hey y'all! So I'm heading to an outdoor wedding in about 2 hours and have no clue what to wear...no dress code on the invite or website.

It's 45 degrees here and the low for tonight is 36...the reception is in an outdoor pavilion. Outfit suggestions?? Thanks ladies!

Well, as we just got 7 inches of snow here in Michigan, how about a nice sweater/blouse and skirt or dress pants with heels? Dress it up with some jewels?

Um. Wow.... The pavillion doesn't have the option of sides with heater? If not, layers. Lots and lots of layers. That sounds cold especially since you'll be sitting.

I would wear pants, and tights underneath on the bottom. On the top, lots of layers and a warm coat!

Wow that's ridiculous. Your hosts seem like asses. Wear whatever you think will keep you comfortable. Trousers and a nice sweater. And jacket. Stay warm. PS please update us later and let us know how it was!

What?! I'm *hoping* to have an outdoor ceremony in November, but my cutoff point is 60 degrees. Any colder than that and we're moving it inside. Your hosts are out of their minds!!!

As others have said, layers, layers, layers. Hoping they have heaters and such, but honestly, I would bring a really thick winter coat and a blanket in the car. If things get really bad, you can pull them out. I wouldn't care how ridiculous I looked.

I live in Fl but sometimes work up north in the winter outside. For these particular situations I have insulated Carhart pants, a heavy Carhart coat, wool socks, a fleece hat with built in face mask, gloves, and boots. I would suggest this outfit.

I would never go to an outdoor wedding in November under 60 degrees...no advice because I would've declined.

I was just at a wedding outdoors and it was miserable. I wore a short navy blue sleeveless dress and brought a shrug along. My husband ended up giving up his cloth napkin for my legs. I'm in no rush to go to another one. No thanksss
