What to Wear to a Bridal Shower

A nice daytime dress would be appropriate. No jeans, IMO. Depends on where it's held but you can never be too dressed up. I usually wear a dress and if it's too cold, throw a sweater over top of it.

I would say any sundress or maxi dress or skirt. MAYBE some leggings and a really nice top.. But generally I'd rather be a little over dressed than under.

Are you the bride or a guest at this event? Either way I know a lot of girls wear a cute dress but personally I don't like dresses. I'll probably wear black plain pants and a nice shirt to mine.

I wore a black and white striped skirt and a black sweater top. I'm always a jeans girl too and I would have loved to wear jeans but for this dressing up to me is a little bit necessary

@Brewed, thanks for clarifying. I definitely wouldn't over think it. Every shower I've been to people have worn jeans. Not saying everyone did, lots of skirts and dresses too. Maybe my crowd is more casual. I just think people overthink these things too much. I'd only dress up a little if we were going somewhere nice. Most that I've been to have been held in someone's backyard or basement.

You can dress up jeans if you don't want to wear a dress and some nice heels

Something dressy. It can be whatever color you want though lots choose white

I bought a nice sundress to wear to one this weekend. Also I wouldn't wear white if you're not the bride
