What to wear for rehearsal dinner?

For my rehearsal dinner I'm planning on wearing my moms old wedding dress. It's a simple knee length lace overlays with a purple slip under it since purple is one of my wedding colors. If you don't want to wear white then wear one of your wedding colors.

I wore a nice cream-colored knee length dress. I also considered wearing my engagement photo shoot dress, which was light blue.

You don't have to wear white. If it's a formal occasion, you wear any formal dress you feel good in.

You don't *have* to wear white, especially if you'll never wear that white dress again. I wore a black vintage-styled dress to my rehearsal, and it was fine. Wear what makes you comfortable and feels appropriate.

You don't have to wear white. I don't even own a white dress. The inlaws hosted a picnic, in their backyard. Everyone wore casual attire. I can't even remember what I wore. It was unseasonably cold, so they handed out their supply of jackets and sweatshirts, for the guests.

Oh the struggle is real! i haven't found a dress either. I keep changing directions of style, too. post when you find one!

I did not want to wear white for the rehearsal. I bought a velvet red dress and I'll wear it with a denim jacket. It really depends how casual or how formal you want to go.

Ours was pretty casual so i wore a black cotton maxi with a bunch of turquoise jewelry to brighten it up.
