what to wear after reception

What did you ladies wear or plan to wear after the reception? i got me a simple dress to wear and FH is wearing a regular suit to match me. we going straight to the hotel afterwards. would i look crazy if i still wore my veil? lol

I didn't change. I wore my wedding dress to our hotel and DH stayed in his tux. I think it wouldn't look all that weird, but why are you bothering to change clothes at all if you're just going to your hotel?

The closest hotel to our venue is also a casino. Everyone will be staying there that night. I plan on sitting at the blackjack table in my wedding dress with my MOH and gambling all our money away lol. (Not literally)

Our reception isn't over until midnight but we will likely go to a bar for an hour or host the BP in our hotel suite (it's a 2 floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite) for more drinks and pizza or something. If we do a bar, I'll stay in my dress. If we do the hotel, I'll change into whatever I end up wearing to get ready.

FH rented his tux, and it has to be taken back the day after so his best man is taking it back for him but he has to change after the reception since we will be leaving that night, i wanted to keep my dress on but changed my mind after i knew he would come out the tux. it will still be early so we might still be out before actually going in the hotel for the night, we might just check in

Our reception ends at 11 and we're planning on an "after party" at the hotel bar afterwards. I'm sure my fiance will stay in his suit but I'm going to pick out a dress to wear because I'll probably want to change out of my dress. Not sure what yet though!

Wow, Candyce...you're in the final countdown. Enjoy this short period of time. It's so exciting.

Are you planning on having your photographer or videographer capture you final exit? If you are, then go for the last dress (and definitely, keep that veil on your head). If the photography and videography is done, why bother? Escape in your getaway car, walk through the hotel lobby in your gown, enjoy the stares and the random congrats, and enjoy your wedding night.
