What to do with the slip under garment after the wedding?

ShaTerra, on June 22, 2012 at 8:57 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

I was wondering what can we do with it after the wedding? It flares our dress out under the dress but then what? Can we rent them instead or sell them?

You mean like a crinoline or hoop? I'd say pay it forward here on WW. Or you could try selling it on CL. I use a hoop for 9 weekends out of every year for faire so mine will get plenty of use, along with my wedding gown.

Yeah unless you want to lend it for another friend/sister/cousin who is getting married - im sure they will love to use it, and it will save them money, or you can sell it on ebay, craislist or one of those sites

I will probably do one of those options with mine....

My seamstress loaned me one from my first wedding. Then two years ago, my BFF was selling hers at a garage sale and I bought it as it was perfect for the Queen of Hearts costume I was making for Halloween that year Smiley winking

    Love the paying it forward!!
