What To Do With A Bride's Buzz Cut?

DaniellaRuth, on July 17, 2013 at 11:55 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8

Hi all ~

I am getting married at the end of August and I still have no idea what to do with my hair (if anything).

It's a very hippie style wedding, my MOH and my FG both have super long beautiful hair - they will have flowers braided into their hair. I on the other hand have buzzed white hair with some black peppered through (cuz I'm old). There is no way a veil would stay in my hair. My hair also falls out easily so I'm not confident that gluing anything onto my hair would work either.

Does anyone have any suggestions for something I can do? Or is it ok to just go 'au natural'?

You could always get a wig to wear for the day. They have come a long way in terms of style and comfort. Synthetic wigs can be had for under $75.00. Then you can have any style or length you desire....

How about a veil attached to a headband?

I like Emily's idea as well as a flowered wreath or just a simple flowered headband kind of like this...

I like that headband! ♥ The flower wreath might be pretty too with a long ribbon hanging down the back?

Thank you for the suggestions - you've sparked the creativity in my brain. Smiley smile

How hippy-ish? Can you get a medieval style circlet or something, like you see ladies wearing at the Renaissance Faire? You can order a nice style on Etsy.

Barefoot, flowers, rainbows, & butterflies hippie - I was considering wearing a necklace style hairpiece with beads and such but I think it would have to be attached to my head somehow in order to stay and I don't see that working with a marine buzz cut.
