You really should get a venue booked asap! You can't really book anything else until you have a venue set in stone because you won't know what dates are available.

Wedding wire has a good checklist to help guide you. Definitely use the website to find venues and vendors

    Heyyyy
I am getting married in April also. I've been using Zola for their checklist (I like it better than the one here) to stay on track. I was mostly ahead of the game as far as booking vendors and venue, but now it's all the little planning things starting to stress me out!!

I would definitely start searching for a venue first. Depending on your location, budget and day of the week, things can fill up fast.

My wedding is in April as well! I would definitely get your venue picked out. Start touring places and getting an idea of what your want your day to look like. I had a head start in the venue, my dress, etc as well, and I agree the small details are definitely making me crazy!

Venue sets the tone for everything, especially date! I agree, book the venue ASAP. I booked my Venue last August for a wedding on Oct 5, this year. It helped me figure out what I need and what can be done/not done.

Yes get the venue ASAP. I’ve also been following a timeline, the one of this app and the one on the knot. It’s totally ok to get behind on some of these things. But the venue needs to be booked, ceremony space, dress shopping, guest list, then move on to dj, photographer, floral bridal party....etc etc
you’re pushing it to still send save the dates. We are getting married 5/2/20 and our save the dates will go out by this weekend and according to the app we are like 3 weeks late 🤷🏼‍♀️ But stuff like that isn’t even necessary.
Get a venue! And if you haven’t set your budget yet, do that like right now! Good luck! 💗

You still have time, but i would defiantly jump on it ASAP. The first thing i would do is look for a venue, dress, caterer, cake, and lastly music
