    I've never heard of that, but I got married at 1:30pm, so I guess we made a good choice. Smiley smile

    Ours was supposed to be at 11:30 but we were early and we're married by 11:25. We laughed about it because we were only doing it because my dh mom was so set on it and since she couldn't be there we were going to do it. We actually looked at each other after and it was 11:30 something and he said oh shit we got married 15 min early I guess we'll end up divorced. We all had a laugh.

    Well, it was supposed to be 12:00, but the HMU was late, so it ended up being 12:30. So maybe her bad luck was our good luck?

    I heard that before my first marriage and we wed at 2:30 pm. Marriage lasted 17 years. This time my wedding is at 11:30 am not due to superstition though. But because of the cost and time line I want to be able to be with FH and our OOT guests.

    I just heard that at a wedding I went to a couple weeks ago. The lady who is doing my hair was a guest and was asking me if I've ever heard of it because that particular wedding didn't follow the tradition. I'd never heard of it...my music starts at 2:30 and then the wedding is at 3:00. That's what I've actually always heard - that the music starts at the bottom of the hour and the wedding at the top. Seems weird to me to have the wedding be at the half past.
