Hi everyone, I am totally struggling with what song to walk down the aisle to! Curious as to what you all are thinking or what anyone's suggestions may be? I am not doing anything traditional....

I'm a die-hard anime lover, especially romance. I want to walk down to a song from an anime called "Clannad" which is called "Nagisa"; it's her theme song from when she and the main male protagonist meet for the first time on a hill full of falling cherry blossoms

Thinking of instrumental version of Colbie Caillat's "Realize". FH used to play it on his guitar for me when we first started dating so it's sentimental. The version I like has violin & flute and isn't quite so early 2000s pop sounding. We don't have a bridal party so it would just be the one song. No clue about Recessional though

My girls are walking down to the piano instrumental of Better Today by Coffey Anderson, I'm walking to Canon D in piano. We all are leaving to Better Today in its original version. A friend of mine did a similar set up because it was difficult getting the timing right. It worked out perfect and I love my song choices! They flow very well together Smiley smile

Mine will be a surprise to everyone at the wedding, But in reality the only one who will get that it's special is my dad. Which is kind of cool, because it's like a secret surprise just for him.

He used to play it on his guitar. Song is called the "sweetheart tree"

Acoustically, It's simple and beautiful, it also just reminds me of being a kid with no problems in the world.

I'm walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey. He hasn't decided what he'll walk down the aisle to yet.

I'm coming out to "Brother" by Needtobreathe. Cause my groomsmen and best man have been a supporting force for me. And it has a driving message that will chase away any anxiety. That is until my beautiful bride walks down the aisle to the instrumental of Turning Page by Sleeping At Last. If it sounds familiar, it's the music played for Bella and Edward's wedding.

I am thinking of an instrumental version of "Future Days" by Pearl Jam. I'll have a live violinist performing. I am a big Pearl Jam fan, so is MOH. I think we are the only two who will recognize it.

I am thinking of doing the "Young and Beautiful" by Lana Del Rey, but the Antonin Charvat Instrumental version - this was a song that was being played all the time right whenever we first started dating.... I really want this to be a surprise for him, because it holds a lot of memories between us. It does sound a little dark at the beginning but I love how dramatic sounding it is lol. However I might have it play right before I walk out and do a traditional "Here Comes the Bride" but played by violinist and cellist live, but I am not totally sure yet.... Good thing we have a while to decide this kind of stuff!

Not sure if its what I will be walking down to, but I want it played for sure at some point in the ceremony - I’m thinking probably when the immediate family and bp is walking down.

Young and Beautiful - Antonin Charvet

Its an orchestral version without lyrics and I loveeee it. The original song came out when we began dating and so part of it is sentimental, but I just love it, the beginning sounds a little dark, but it is very dramatic which is what I’m going for overall. I think for when I walk down, I will have live violist and/or cellist playing.
