What song is your bridal party walking down to?

SamanthaNKyle0621, on March 23, 2014 at 3:32 AM Posted in Planning 0 32

My fiance and I picked the song that I'll be walking down the aisle to when we first got engaged ( The Vitamin String Quartet version of Can't Help Falling in Love With You), but I'm still stuck on what song to use for when the bridal party walks down the aisle. What songs are you guys using?

Mine is walking in to "Waitin on a Woman" by Brad Paisley. That's also the song I'll dance to with my 5 year old, who will be walking me down the aisle ;-)

I'm walking down the aisle to "I'll Follow You" by Shinedown. Instrumental, if I can find it. Then, our first dance will be the whole song.

My girls are walking down to Canon in D. My brother will be paying Marry Me by train, on his guitar as I walk down the aisle.

The Canon in D actually does segue nicely into something like "Can't Help Falling in Love With You". However, you don't necessarily have to have different music. Depending on the size of your bridal party and the length of the aisle, you might consider having the same tune for everyone. If you have it just for you, you will only hear a small part of it. Try walking a similar distance with the music playing and you'll see.

After a ridiculous, wedding-stress-induced argument, we settled on "The Imperial March" from "Return of the Jedi"-- got everyone smiling right off the bat and was perfect!
