What slip for Melissa Sweet?

I got the Melissa Sweet scalloped a-line from David’s Bridal and I love it! But, I don’t know what slip to wear.

The saleswoman handed me a slip to wear when I was trying dresses on, I loved the silhouette, and of course didn’t write down what kind it was. I know I need a slip, I tried it without and it folded straight between my legs. Ladies who have worn/will wear Melissa Sweet - what slip? Pics with the mystery slip, maybe someone can guess what it was? What slip for Melissa Sweet? 1

The consultant probably put the style number of the slip in your file incase you were looking to by that same slip.

That’s what I was hoping too - she didn’t make a note of it first day back after lockdown, she was pretty flustered.

Can you find a slip you like? Or go back to the store and see what looks familiar? Maybe call and see what they would recommend?

For an A line that can spread as much as this, you may want to try a couple, depending on where you want it to pouffe out.
No 2 adds nothing at the hops or upper thighs except space to walk, dance comfortably, then at 1-3 inches above knee maz adds a gentle ruffle to spread the skirt into an A but a narrow one. "3, the narrower Ball gown cut, starts adding pouffe at the hips, and I do not think would suit your figure.
Never having seen the dress spread, I think the special cut of the hem might also be shown off by a trumpet shape
Which will be a little narrower down to mid thigh. A stiff netting would abruptly push the skirt out and you do not want that. But a soft netting over a soft cloth layer would be pretty. Some of it is a choice, how you want to hem to spread.
So A like or trumpet would likely work, soft not stiff netting. 🙂 I love the lace, and hemline, and think the belt is perfect. I think this is a very flattering choice, and you will love it when the skirt is properly spread.
