What size centerpieces for 60" Tables?

Looking at glass cylinders with candles inside, with some greenery. Fairly simple and tasteful. The tables are 60" round tables, that will seat 8 people each. Is there a guide to the height and diameter of the centerpieces that would best with this size of table?

It's easy enough to do a trial at home. Cut out a 60" circle with newspaper taped together. Set it on the floor. Add plates, cutlery and glasses and measure how much room is left.

In the attached diagram, it shows 18" to be the depth of one place setting 2 directly across from each other would be 36". That would leave 24 inches in the middle of the table. You don't want to use all that space or it would be too crowded and leave no room for salt and pepper etc.

I think the key is just keeping them below 14" so guests can converse and see each other across the table.

I have 60" tables and I will have one 9 in cylinder vase and one 7 in cylinder vase for my centerpieces.

Go on Pinterest. You can use rings of eucalyptus and circle the vases and use candles
