What size card box?

I'm planning to make a card box out of a pet carrier. We are expecting about 240 guests (100 families). How big a box do I need? Is there a calculator available somewhere for this? The small size pet carrier is 20"x 13" x 11". That seems plenty big to me but I have a terrible eye for this kind of stuff! Should I go bigger?

I don't think there is a calculator fro that, but I think it should be fine. Not everyone will be bringing a card, especially if you've already had a wedding shower.

I don't have an inspiration pic- I'm winging it lol. I posted previously on here asking for some ideas about using a pet carrier, and got several great suggestions I'm going to use the plastic vari-kennel style and cut a slot in the top, then decorate the rest of it somehow.

My card box was 8.5"H, 13"W, 7.5"D and was definitely more than big enough!!
