What should my groom + Groomsmen wear?

Your man should definitely stand out. Which does he prefer (black suit/burgundy tie or burgundy suit)? GMs can wear whatever your fiancé won’t. Either option looks smashing but let your groom be comfy (I like nonblack suits but my hubby is classic and would never wear one. He absolutely wanted a classic black tux and he did look handsome!).

He has told me that he doesn't even know what he wants to wear, LOL! I feel like he would look so good in a burgundy suit. I think he sees what I see, but he still feels indecisive. Sigh, MEN!

I think the groomsmen would look nice in black and a burgundy tie if that fits your look. The burgundy suit just looks really good. He sounds simular to my guy as well. I keep throwing out ideal luke well blue or grey with burgundy will work too lol but he still hasn't decided. 😤😤😂

Yes definitely!!! the brungundy my colors are pink/white/grey/silver. My FH will wear the White Suite and his groomsmen will wear grey. I will wear pink and my matrons will wear silver and bridesmaids will wear white.

HAHA! Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. I think the groomsmen would look nice in black suits with burgundy tie, but then the bridesmaids are wearing burgundy.. shouldn't they really be matching? Or would the black suits work well enough? This is kind of tricky.

I like when the groom stands out. The guys in my D’s wedding will be dressed like the photo. Groom in blue tux with black bow tie and black accessories. GM’s in black tuxes with long black ties. The ties don’t have to match the BM dresses. Their boutonnières will be what makes them coordinate (BM’s are wearing champagne). Take your FH shopping to see what he prefers.

WOW!!! I love that colour theme, it sounds very nice!! FH has worn a white suit in the past, and he just looked smashing.. but I wondered for our wedding purposes, if the white suit would just look TOO different from everyone else.

Your FH is supposed to look different the white is very very nice. but the brungundy is fire!!!

We did groom in black tux and groomsmen in dark charcoal grey. So he stands out but keeping a little more classic look.

View Quoted Comment I saw a pic where the bridesmaid and groomsmen matched and it looked really good. So Andrea you have more than a few of options. I'd love to see what we come up with being that our ideal is simular as of now. Good luck im sure any choice is going to look good though

I always think to be wary of a groom in a white tux. If your wedding dress is an ivory color (as most are, as super white wedding dresses can show blue in pictures), then it might make your dress look dirty. Burgundy or a black suit would look great though, and not take away your thunder!

Lol. Well be glad he's not so opinionated he wants to wear something crazy like camo or polka dots because you'd be all "BABE, that doesn't match at ALL."

I think a black suit with a burgundy tie and a peach boutonnière would look amazing. It wouldn't look overdone or cheesy, it would look classy and also match! If you had the bridesmaids AND the groomsmen in burgundy, that might be a little over the top. But no matter what, it is up to and what your vision is.
