what parks allow Dj's

What park lets you hav a dj till around midnight for a reception. In Minnesota by detroit lakes or fregus falls

    You have to check into the zoning area. If the park is located near a residential area, most likely it's going to go by noise ordinance of the neighborhood, which in our area is 10pm. If the park is zoned for businesses, then you may get away with going until Midnight. I would see how the parks are zoned first, and then go from there.

    Find your city's park and rec. website. It should have all the info you need. Sometimes it's just a matter of getting a noise permit, usually a nominal fee. Good luck!

    If you have a DJ already, you may ask them. They should know the county laws.

    First- you need to find a park that is open that late... Not sure about MN, but the parks here in OK close by 10 (actually at sunset for the most part).
