What must we have ?

Okay this wedding is pretty much set. Deposit on venu, food, liquor, plates and even last minute hired a decor person. I even decided to do two dresses ! I’m thinking about getting a videographer? Is it worth it ? Also what other things are a must have at a weddings in your opinion!

I think a DJ is a must. My biggest concerns were definitely venue (they provide catering and open Bar) DJ and photographer. I’m split on the videographer because I don’t intend on watching my wedding and most packages only provide a short video of a whole day. So, that’s totally up to you. But, you didn’t mention DJ or music so, that’s definitely a suggestion.

We're not videoing ours. I think that's totally up to you, though! As the person before me suggested, I'd look into a DJ. We also hired a caricature artist for our wedding reception. We met him at a bridal show and he was $450 for 4 hours, enough time to do pictures of everyone. We thought it'd be a unique/fun gift for our guests. Oh, and you didn't mention a photographer!

Wedding colors, hair and makeup, shoes, invitations/save the dates, wedding day timeline (wish I would've considered that a little earlier on), wedding cake, music for the ceremony, what type of ceremony you would like, guest book or alternative(if you want one), jewelry. Will the decorator help with flowers? I'm just thinking of all those little things. Happy planning!!! I have definitely enjoyed it, now patiently waiting to see it all come together.

I think a videographer is a must! All my married friends that got one said they’re SO glad they did! My sister-in-law watches their video a lot. I’m so excited to get a video for ours! I would definitely look into some type of entertainment for your guests: photo booth, yard games, caricature artist, etc. Also, look into a DJ or band for dancing! Are you having music during your ceremony? You’ll want to decide if you want a DJ for that or musicians.

We didn't do a videography. A girl and I had a conversation about this at work. We prefer to not see us in real life or hear ourselves talk. Or what if we ugly cry. Lol. Just feels weird. But truly I think it's a personal preference. It would certainly be a great thing to break out many years from now and show the family!

Oh yes a dj is an absolute non negotiable must! I wasn’t interested in a videographer at all but i read so many articles that the biggest regret was not having a videographer, our photographer offered us a great deal on adding one and we jumped on it. I would definitely consider it

I totally think video is but I also know it's a splurge. If it's in your budget go for it.
