Ixchel, on September 8, 2016 at 4:48 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

Hello ladies my FH and I have picked our wedding date and I was just wondering and I have googled it but still can't get an answer, Is the Month of May a peak or off peak season in Chicago? Or does it depends on the veule?

Speaking for Boston area, but we were trying for off peak for discounts and most places said Nov 15 through April 15 were considered off season for them.

It depends on your venue. If you marry at a ski resort, peak season is winter.

For most places, April through October are peak. May is probably peak for almost all venues.

Where I am, November-March is "off peak".

    May is definitely "peak" everywhere.

May is peak season. I'm having a Chicago wedding. All venues I looked into said off peak seasons are January, February and March. Some did however consider December and April as off season. But May is definitely not off season. Especially the end of May like you chosen date

It really depends on the company. For my venue off peak is November-April. For my caterer it's only January-March. For my other vendors it didn't really matter aside from the fact that I have a little less competition except two photographers I contacted were booked more than a year in advance so not even really that.
