    We got married in January! Wasn’t my top pick but I wanted to be married before I graduated.
    I probably would have picked May or June if any date would have worked.
    However, being a January bride was nice because I had my pick of vendors! We had a year engagement and most of my vendors were picked from 9-6 months before. I only ran into a couple of venues already booked. And I got married sooner 😊

    I always dreamed of a fall/October wedding. Unfortunately, I'm currently back in school and racking up debt, so it would be tough to afford next October and would require a lot of planning while I'm trying to finish my master's degree. My fiance is prioritizing me focusing on school and having his family there, which includes young nieces and nephews who live out of state. So we ended up with January 2021. It gives me time to graduate and start contributing financially as well as not being hot and sweaty as can be expected during other times of year in Texas.
