Thank you for all your advice you wonderful ladies and gents, I decided I am going to have the wedding party in an ombre effect, we are doing 3 shades of purple like as pictured but with long dresses I was wondering what would look better my maid of honor being in dark purple or light purple my fiance says Dark I say light

I think you could do either one! You could ask your MOH which color she prefers, and then use her answer to help make your decision?

This is what I did (I'm doing the same concept but with blue) - I just asked my MOH which color she'd prefer!

I'm visualizing your white dress and having the colors get darker from you. So your MOH in a light purple and have it get darker from her. But I agree that either way would love beautiful!

I think dark. You MOH will likely be standing the closest to you in wedding party photos and her darker purple will contrast really beautiful standing next your white dress so you both will pop!

Love the ombré look with purple! I actually prefer dark for MOH because that color will really pop next to white dress. May be too distracting if the color far from the bride. But you really can’t go wrong.

Ask you're MOH what color she wants to be in,then go from there. I think the darker purple she should be in with you in a white gown.
