What kind of lists should i make?

I’m a very organized person. I don’t make lists of things in my home, but I do for grocery shopping. I find making lists will be very useful with wedding stuff. I’m having some trouble thinking of lists to create though. Ceremony decor, reception decor, guest tables decor, rehearsal dinner list, paper goods, list of everything for bridesmaids, FG, bride, Groom, hotel bag, and Emergency kit. It’s many lists, but I feel like I’m missing some.

Guest list! Budget. I found that Google sheets/docs helped me tremendously! It was all in one place that I could access anywhere there was a computer and internet. Or my phone! Right now I have one for our budget, our guest list, rsvps, table assignments, a to do list lol. I've also found that pinterest has some good lists, that break things down by month and what you "should" be getting done.

I’ve been jotting down a song list as I think of or hear things that would be fitting for specific events or just at the reception in general.

I do the same! One list I was thinking of making is for whoever I designate to be the person to collect things at the end of the reception...for example, cake cutting set, champagne flutes, cake topper, framed photos used for decor, etc.

I keep an excel spreadsheet with multiple "tabs" so everything is in one place. Here is an example of my "misc items" tab... Every time I have an idea of something I need to remember or need a list for, it gets added here so I don't forget.

I also refer back to the wedding wire checklist because it has everything broken down by how many months out it should be done.

What about a honeymoon list? For things you need to pack? Music list for your DJ/Band?

I LOVE making lists! We're getting married at an Airbnb so there's many lists I've started creating-guest list, food lists (we're doing a 2 day celebration with a bbq/pool party the day before, breakfast ideas, etc), alcohol, table decors (vases, lights, candles), wedding song lists, dessert lists, paper goods. I'm sure there will be more!
