So there's a lot of post about the dress but like, what are you going to wear underneath it? My dress will be with sleeves so I don't think I would need the corset looking thing that I see everywhere, and are you going to consider the wedding night with it? I know once we leave the church FH is...

My dress will be with sleeves so I don't think I would need the corset looking thing that I see everywhere, and are you going to consider the wedding night with it? I know once we leave the church FH is going to want to rip off my clothes and he would love to see me in something hot...... undergarment wise. Are you going to go out and buy something new or more like something you already had, like everyday wear?

I want to ask for pictures, but I'm afraid of what I will receive. :-/

What would be the purpose of a long line bra rather than a regular bra?? Why is it so popular on this board?

I'm pretty sure my guy will be wasted so I'm just going to be comfortable.

I'm going to do "everyday" underwear. 1) i'm lazy. 2) i want to be comfortable. I'm even going to be wearing shorts under my gown. Smiley smile

I personally just think the longline bra looks sexier compared to a normal one, and it is something different that I don't wear often.

A longline bra usually goes down to your belly button area instead of ending right under the "girls"

To add to what MrsN said about the long line- it goes down to the end of your torso and helps create a more seamless look because sometimes you can see where a regular bra ends on a snug dress. Perfect for wedding dresses and other evening wear. Think the length of a corset but more supportive and more bra like.

I am so excited that I get to wear a regular bra with my gown. The salesgirl at the salon (when I bought my dress) was saying how I could go braless and get cups sewn in and I said NOPE! The whole goal here is to be as comfortable as possible... which means a real bra for the girls! I did have to get one of those low-back straps though, since my dress has a keyhole back, and the hole is right where my bra normally hooks. Crisis averted!

On the bottom I think I'm just going to wear a pair of white lacy VS hiphuggers that I already have at home. They're sexy, bridal, and still comfortable. I am also wearing tights under my gown. Everyone is going to call me crazy, but 1) I have a giant hoop slip under my gown, so my dress will be standing completely away from my legs and 2) I am getting married in December, so it will be COLD out. And I am always cold!

I might get something cute/slinky to sleep in at the hotel that night, but I haven't figured that out yet.
