$10k for roughly 100 guests. This is including everything (dress, rings, venue, catering, dj, decor, invitations, etc.)
We're not doing anything too fancy. Just a firehall wedding & reception. We were able to find a firehall that is a nice looking with white walls, carpeting, a wood dance floor. We're paying for almost everything ourselves, so we have a tight budget. Plus, I'd rather not go into debt for a wedding. I'd rather use that money for other things. We're doing good so far. 3.5 months to go and I'm still under $9k. I mainly just need to purchase decor and dress alterations at this point.
My wedding budget is $5,000 that is for the wedding/reception hall and the food. $500 is my budget for a dress. $100 for my fiancé’s ring (he won’t really ever wear the ring, he has a silicone ring he will wear most of the time). $100 total for brides maids, maid of honor, flower girl’s, and ring bearers gifts. Probably $50 on the groom’s gift and then $50 for both my moms and my fiancé’s moms gift. Probably $100 on wedding favors.
I wish! We have invited 165 people (plus ones and children included) but only expect about 125 to come and have a budget of about $7000! My engagement ring not included.

I feel you - I'm in MD right near DC...average here is like $49k for 150(?) people so I feel OK with my budget haha and we haven't had to restrict ourselves
My 1st wedding (2014) cost $15,000 for 120 people. It was on a Saturday in June. My 2nd wedding will be on a weeknight since we are not getting as ornate. I expect to spend only a few thousand this time around. Having fewer people (20 or so), and it’ll take place in a courthouse, with the reception in our mutual friend’s yard.

We’re getting married in Madison too! ☺️ Right now we’re at $17k expected costs. I assume there will be another k of unexpected costs
That is how we did ours. We just kept track of everything related to the wedding. The only thing not included in ours was my engagement ring but everything after that is included in our grand total.
I replied earlier, but I guess I wasn't logged in, so I might be replying twice? idk lets find out.
I'm washing and reusing glass jars and bottles; this ranges from bbq sauce to skincare. Instead of going to Dollar Tree for vases, I'm going to goodwill, matching the color of the day, and getting them 50% off. Since food is just pizza and beer, we'll be using eco friendly disposable dinnerware, which will go in the big recycle cans. There might be some vegan options too, but that's a little up in the air since we're finalizing menus. I'm using a lot of what I have, especially some home decor that could be used for wedding decor. Here I mean mostly my plants, mirrors, a nick-nak here and there, and an old lace curtain I will be dying with avocado seeds and peels and cutting up to go around the bouquets. Some things can be flipped and given new life/ purpose. I'm heavily considering making a succulent table for the cake. I will be making a point to not use any single-use items to hold things in place when decorating the venue. If there must be glitter, it will be the eco friendly kind so it doesn't end up in the oceans. I'm very willing to get as crunchy as I can be, but its not 100% like I wish. When I'm buying decor, I always ask myself "how can I incorporate this after the wedding" and so far I'm really excited about the eventual home decor I just bought; gonna look like one of those DIY Anthropology thrift videos on youtube.
Our budget is $6K for 40 guests, this does not include wedding attire or wedding bands. Our families are helping with the cost of the wedding, and we'll be paying for anything that goes over.
Our budget was $27K but it’s looking like it will be closer to $30-32 for 130 people in Chicago including everything except honeymoon.
It makes me so sad to spend this much when we could use it elsewhere. I’m being as frugal as possible, but weddings are really expensive here, with most of that being spent on catering and venue. I’m hoping to make some money back after I sell all of our DIY items, but it probably won’t be for much.
