My something old: pieces of my grandmother's wedding dress lace for my garter and bouquet. My grandmother's pearls are wrapped around my bouquet as well.

My something new: dress, veil, hairpiece

My something blue: My shoes are Blue by Betsey Johnson, my garter has a blue bow, and my perfume is Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana

Old: Freshwater pearl necklaces that were my grandmother's (currently being restrung).

    New: Dress/veil/shoes/garter.

Borrowed: Stepmother's pearl earrings that were her mother's.

Blue: Comb holding veil in place/garter/(...maybe undergarments?)/reception shoes

My FH doesn't have any family but has lots of close friends he considers family. We went to see his best man and his family before his parents move. We were talking about the wedding. His mom showed me a picture from their wedding. When I said I liked her hair piece, she brought it out and asked if I wanted to wear it for the wedding. My FH calls her mom, so it is a very special thing and an honor to wear it as a sign as being accepted into their tight knit group of friends they call family.
